How pricing works
Promptly is sold as a base module plus add-ons, not as tiers. You start with Chat and switch on the other modules when you need them. Everything is managed on Dashboard → Settings → Billing.
The two things you pay for
Your Promptly subscription — the modules below, billed monthly by us.
Your AI provider bill — the tokens your assistant spends, billed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Zhipu, or Moonshot directly to you. Promptly never resells model usage. This is why there is no message quota and no overage: conversations are unlimited on your own key. See Why you bring your own key.
Modules, flat and per-seat
| Flat modules | One price per workspace, regardless of team size — Chat, FAQ, Product Catalog. |
| Per-seat modules | Priced per person who works in them — Escalation and Documentation. See Seats. |
Every module shows its own price on the Billing page, and each card is badged Included or Not included for your workspace. What each one unlocks is listed in Modules.

Currency, period, and tax
- Prices are in EUR.
- Billing is monthly. There's no annual plan at the moment.
- Listed prices are exclusive of VAT and sales tax. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your country and added to the total.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — Paddle collects the payment, handles tax, and issues the invoice. See Cancelling & refunds.
Where the prices you see come from
The Billing page reads live prices at load time, so what you see is what Paddle will charge. If a module shows Contact us or Priced — amount TBD, its price isn't published yet for your region — contact support rather than guessing.
Modules can also arrive without a payment: everything is unlocked during the trial (Included in trial), and we can enable a module manually on request (Granted by admin). The source is printed on each active module card.
What isn't metered
- Messages and conversations — unlimited, on your key.
- Team members — inviting a colleague isn't a purchase in itself. Only the per-seat modules count people; see Seats and Team & roles.
Knowledge base size is capped, because storage and embeddings stay our cost. Current usage against those caps is shown in the Storage & Infrastructure card at the bottom of the Billing page (documents and megabytes used versus your limit).
